Overview Of The Home

Marmora offers 26 bedrooms, 1 of which can be used as a double room for a couple. Several of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and there are accessible bathroom and wet rooms available.

Rooms are furnished to a high standard and we encourage residents to personalise them to their own liking.

We have a beautiful garden which is very well used in the warmer months and residents enjoy helping to maintain this.

The home is fully accessible and can provide equipment to meet peoples needs.

A passenger lift is available to access the upper floors.

The home offers a weekly hairdressing service, a chiropodist, newspaper delivery and opticians can be arranged. These additional services are provided at a reasonable price and would be discussed with the manager during the admission stage.


Care Planning

Each resident living at Marmora Care Home is provided with an in-depth plan of care which is tailored to their individuals needs, wishes and preferences. We involve each resident and their family in assessing and building their plan of care. This is reviewed continuously thoroughout their stay. Each resident has a key worker, and this staff member works very closely with the resident and family to build a trusting relationship.

We work with specialist healthcare professionals to produce detailed end of life care plans and work to fulfil the last wishes of all residents that live at Marmora.

Where possible we offer a 4-hour assessment turn around, and same day admission to help relieve the pressure placed on other health care providers during the winter period and Covid-19 pandemic.
